Trims and Prices
With the Toyota RAV4, you get a few more trim options than you will with the Nissan Rogue. The RAV4 comes in six gas-powered trims and seven hybrid models, while the Rogue is only available in four gas-engine trim levels. For the gas RAV4s, you can choose from the following trims and MSRPs:

Performance
For both the Toyota RAV4 and the Nissan Rogue, you’ll only have one engine option regardless of the trim level. Under the hood of every gas-powered RAV4, you’ll enjoy the power and performance that comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This block can generate up to 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The system uses a direct shift eight-speed electronically controlled transmission to transition through the gears and offers sequential shift mode with Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes. Front-wheel drive is standard on all but the Adventure and TRD Off-Road trims, which have front-wheel drive standard.
Those who don’t need quite as much power will enjoy the 1.5-liter three-cylinder block that comes with the Nissan Rogue. This engine delivers 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. An XTRONIC continuously variable transmission ensures you shift gears smoothly. Front-wheel drive is standard for the Nissan Rogue, but you can upgrade to get intelligent all-wheel drive.
Your RAV4 can tow 1,500 pounds in most trims. However, choosing the Adventure or TRD Off-Road trims ups the towing capacity of the RAV4 to 3,500 pounds with the proper equipment. The Rogue can also tow 1,500 pounds.
Exterior Design
On the outside, the 2024 RAV4 looks sporty yet refined. It comes standard with features such as dual chrome-tipped exhaust, aerodynamic underbody panels with vortex generators, and LED lighting elements that help you see where you’re going even on the darkest nights. Optional features depending on the trim include raised black roof rails, a power tilt-and-slide moonroof, and 18- or 19-inch wheels.
The 2024 Rogue has an elegant design that offers an air of sophistication. Standard features for this model include a black grille with chrome accents, LED headlights, and 17-inch wheels. Upgrading to a higher trim can get you features like a moonroof, heated outside mirrors with turn signal indicators, and a motion-activated liftgate that makes loading and unloading the cargo area an easy task.
Interior Elements
Moving inside, you’ll find that both the RAV4 and Rogue offer seating for five and plenty of space for your gear. In the RAV4, you can fit up to 69.8 cubic feet of luggage, groceries, or whatever you need to pack into the rear when you fold the back seat down. With the seat up, you still get an impressive 37.6 cubic feet of cargo space. Fabric-trimmed seats, a day/night rearview mirror, and soft-touch materials on the dash and armrests are just a few standard features RAV4 drivers will appreciate. You can opt to ugrade to get SofTex-trimmed seats with heating and ventilation.
The Rogue offers a little more cargo area when you fold the rear seat down, with a maximum of 74.1 cubic feet, but you’ll get less space with the rear seat up with only 35.6 cubic feet available. Standard amenities are sparse for the Rogue, but going with a higher trim level can add heated leather seats, a leather steering wheel, and a memory function for the driver’s seat.
Safety Features
Safety is a top priority at Toyota, and every 2024 RAV4 comes with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 suite. With this modern technology, you can take on any road with confidence. The suite offers a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed dynamic radar cruise control, and lane departure alert with steering assist. You’ll also get the benefit of automatic high beams and road sign recognition to make your drives around Auburn even more enjoyable.
The Nissan Rogue also has some safety tech to help ensure you’re in good hands when you get out on the road. A blind-spot warning lets you know if someone is in your blind spot so you change lanes only when it’s safe. A rear cross-traffic alert gives you a warning if something is coming up on either side of the vehicle’s rear.
